Challenge

The key objective of the No.1 Currency project was to improve the existing customer experience and increase conversion rates through improved UX. The existing experience was clunky and the value proposition was unclear which was contributing to low conversion rates.

Approach

Working closely with key personnel from each function in No1 Currency, we examined in detail both the public facing website and the internal processes that took up most of personnel time. We then evaluated which of these processes could be better handled online and how they could integrate with the new website. The output of this process was a proposal for a completely new online experience for No1 Currency.

Solution

The solution was an experience that prioritised the critical journeys for the user. Buying or selling foreign currency was reduced to three simple steps all of which could be completed in under a minute. The result for No1 Currency was a frictionless user experience and an online presence they can be proud of.
